Corporate lawyer

This is a newly created full-time opportunity for a corporate lawyer to join our growing team. We advise a wide range of North-West based and national clients, including those from manufacturing and engineering sectors as well as:

• professional service businesses
• banks
• charities
• owner-managed businesses.

We provide personalised, dynamic and commercial advice, ensuring that we secure the best deal for our clients whilst delivering gold-standard ‘wow’ service at all times.

You will be exposed to the full breadth of corporate work including the following:

• Business acquisitions and disposals.
• Mergers.
• Company investments including venture capital.
• Re-organisations and restructures.
• Share option schemes.
• Branding merchandising and sponsorship.

You’ll work closely with our Corporate Partners who are keen to support your career progression and further advance your skills on more complex matters.

With an already brilliant team in place and a variety of good quality work, this is a role with huge potential.

You will enjoy high levels of client contact and be expected to develop and manage profitable relationships with new and existing clients and third parties (including referrers), while maintaining gold-standard service.

While we have an established reputation in Corporate work, we are looking for someone who is keen to utilise their business development skills as well as a commercial approach to how we can continue to improve our offering and client experience.

• You will be a credible and technically strong practitioner who has prior Corporate experience and enjoys working on a wide range of Corporate work.
• You must be a strong and transparent communicator who is able to confidently liaise with internal and external stakeholders at all levels and able to manage and build positive working relationships.
• You will have strong commercial acumen and be a results-driven individual
